Girl with a Bug.
Taken from some image I found on the Internet. For some reason, I couldn’t tell if it was done or not, I guess you be the judge. Again, done all in Photoshop.
My Muse
I picked up a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet this past week – and this thing rocks. For only $199 bucks, you can the Wacom professional quality pressure sensitive tablet, the same as the professional level Intuois series for half the price at this size. The pen area measures 8.5 x 5.4 inches with plenty of [...]
Susan: August 21, 2009
My latest sketch which is of Susan, whom I’ve never drawn before. She was a large woman (not obese) but I don’t think I’ve drawn a large woman before. Posed some interesting challenges. Sketch was done with HB, 4B and 7B graphite pencils on bond.
Woman: Never Got Her Name

I especially like her face, how its tilted down. The portion I’m most unhappy about is her legs, which seem shortened or large compared to the rest of [...]
Bill: May 15, 2009

Connie: May 19, 2009
I sat and sketched my girlfriend while she was watching TV last night. I ended up leaving her in simple line forms rather than shading in shadows and detail. She was wearing all black with black hair, it seemed ok to leave as outline. I used a 2B graphite pencil on bristol. It’s about 70% [...]
Freya – May 8, 2009
Today’s model was Freya, a red headed young woman. I got to class late, so pickings for an angle was pretty small. I was able to get profile shot which was nice for a change actually. My styles tend to change with the model, Freya seemed to have a comic book or fantasy quality about [...]
Quick Test with Grayscale
Sitting on my stoop this afternoon practicing my grayscale values. Created a strip and an odd robot/human-isque shape with bad lighting. Used a 4b for the job.
